Americans that live in rural areas face significantly more challenges in regard to accessing healthcare and treatments compared to those that live in more urban environments. Due to travel times, lack of accessibility to specialists, and less advanced facilities, it can be very hard for Americans in rural communities to get the medical care that they need in a timely manner. Given that roughly 19% of Americans live in rural communities, Affinity Health Partners has made it our goal to work toward closing the disparities between rural and urban health. We are motivated and equipped to reduce that gap.
